Hybrid Steel Design, LLC was established in October 2012. It was a way for Owner Levi Clark to give back to his hometown community in Geraldine, MT. After Levi Graduated from Montana Tech he was quickly recruited to Gillette, WY to work for a large company that provided welding & fabrication services to the many coal mines in the surrounding area. After spending 5 years in the coal mining industry and honing in his skills, he soon realized that he could provide a service for a need that was not being met in his hometown. Levi met his wife Ashley while working in the coal mining industry in Gillette, WY. Ashley was an equipment operator and material handler for the steel facility that provided services to the coal mines. Ashley not only has experience within the steel industry but also several years of experience with accounting, bookkeeping, and inventory management. Ashley has a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration with a CPA concentration. With their combined experience Levi and Ashley moved back to beautiful Montana and started their own business.
Levi and Ashley took the skills they had learned in the mining industry, along with the work ethic and experience Levi learned growing up in the Agricultural Industry and set up a mobile welding and fabrication unit to service the local farmers and ranchers with all their repair, fabrication and welding needs. Due to their combined skill set, Hybrid Steel quickly grew so that they could provide welding & fabrication and now millwright services, not only for the Geraldine area, but throughout Montana.
Hybrid Steel Design takes extreme pride in the quality of work we provide for each of our customers. It is our mission to make sure each of our customers gets the best quality while providing value to their project. We thrive when challenged and Levi has a knack for seeing things 7 steps ahead to solve problems quickly and efficiently. It is that skillset and quality that allows Hybrid Steel Design to stand out!
Hybrid Steel Design hosted a small ribbon-cutting event to celebrate their expansion over the past 18 months into their new Fort Benton commercial location. Thank you to Governor Greg Gianforte for taking time out of his busy day to join!
We provide onsite consultations to aid in the design process. We work closely with engineers to make sure blueprints/drawings are being made to the customers liking. We can recommend engineers if you do not have a team of your own.
After all blueprints/drawings are approved and signed off on we then begin the fabrication and building process (this is where the magic happens). This can be done onsite or in our shop, depending on your needs.
Finally, we deliver and install the finished product to your location/facility. This is also where the Millwright services come into effect. If you have a processing plant or facility that needs full assembly. We can then custom fabricate any particular transitions or parts needed for the assembly process.
